🎪 Cirque Amongus brought the magic to Oxford Elementary today! This special event only comes around every three years, and it was worth the wait. Every OES student had the chance to participate, learning the fundamentals of circus art - juggling, balancing, and more! For the grand finale, the entire school performed using the circus skills they learned! We don’t have to tell you how much our students enjoyed it — just look at their faces! 😄. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Mrs. Miconi at OES and DA has taught Elin so much about music this year ! She also coordinated a wonderful musical that was entertaining and impressive ! 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Mr. Fletcher, currently at Clear Lake, was my son’s 4th grade teacher at OES! He made such an impact on my now 6th grade son, that my son chose to follow in Mr. Fletcher's footsteps and used his earned Paw Bucks to be a teacher for the day! Mr. Fletcher was an excellent STRIDE coach and encouraged the kids to do their best and have a little fun along the way. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Mrs. Harvey at OES was a student teacher in Jimmy’s fifth grade classroom last year and she will always be one of those teachers who made a lasting impression on him. She treated him as her own and made sure he knew he was loved and cared about which is more important to us than any academics. However, he also thrived under her teaching too! 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Ms. Hoke from OES has created such a fun and positive learning environment for our daughter to thrive in this year. Ms. Hoke has helped her tremendously with her math, and, as of this year math is our daughter’s favorite subject!! It’s such a joy to see her so excited about her learning and diligent with her homework. Not only does she show her support and dedication for her students in the classroom, Ms. Hoke is also there for her students on the sidelines cheering them on. We were so blown away when Ms. Hoke showed up on a Saturday with her family to our daughter’s soccer game. She is so sweet and truly cares about her students. He’s amazing! And we’ve been truly blessed to have him as a teacher!! He’s not only Very caring, but also very attentive to her needs as a student with special needs. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Jimmy loved Mr. Robydek from OES and his “teeny weenie beanie”. Fifth grade was fun and memorable for him because of his commitment to strong relationships with his students. Jimmy grew a lot that year, much to Mr. Robydek’s tireless reassurance that he knew he had it in him. We are so grateful for you Mr. Robydek! -Danielle C. Mr. Robydek from OES is a special teacher. He makes sure his students have a safe and fun atmosphere - always looking for creative ways to teach curriculum. Nicholas was lucky enough to be his student council rep his 5th grade year. I really believe this helped his confidence. Over the years they have touched base here and there. Nicholas knows he can count on him if he needs anything. He lights up when he sees Mr. Robydek. He feels valued and seen. We are so appreciative of Mr. Robydek and his relationship he creates with his students. Not just the year they are with him, but throughout the years.
