I have been teaching since 2007 where I started out teaching preschool in Birmingham. I then taught kindergarten in Detroit. From there I moved to Fenton where I taught Young Fives, 2nd grade part-time, and the other half as the IB Coordinator, Resource Room, and then moved to an ASD Room. I also spent a year teaching an ASD room in Lake Orion. I believe that every child can learn. I love to show my students the excitement of learning and discovery, while helping them grow into confident and successful individuals. Some may learn more than others and in different ways, but all can learn and should be treated with respect and with an open heart.
I have been married for 15 years to my husband Eric. We have two daughters, Ava who is 14 years old and will be in 9th grade at Lake Orion High School, and Claire who will be turning 11 years old and will be in 6th grade at Oakview Middle School starting in the Fall of 2023. We have 2 kitty's, Murphy and Buddy. We love to spend our time outdoors, boating, golfing, playing basketball, and bowling.
