This afternoon we had fire drill #4. Students did an excellent job following directions and evacuating quickly and quietly. By law we are required to have 5 fire drills, 2 tornado drills, and 2 ALICE drills and 1 safety/Cardiac Team drill. Drills are documented on our Clear Lake web page and will be communicated through School Messenger after a drill has been conducted.

Dear Clear Lake Families,
Donations for Dots Fundraiser – Tomorrow!
We are excited to remind you that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, is Donations for Dots day! This fun fundraiser supports our local Dolly Parton Imagination Library chapter, which provides free books to over 200 children in Oxford. Last year, our school community raised nearly $470. Can we beat that amount this year? We hope you'll join us in making a difference!
How It Works
Students who bring in a donation will be called down to place a dot sticker on our bulletin board display. PBIS Pals classrooms will compete in teams to see which can collect the most dot stickers and win a special prize. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Clear Lake PTO for sponsoring this exciting reward for our PBIS Pals classes!
Donation Guidelines
Please note that we are unable to accept pennies, as they are no longer being minted. We welcome any other coins or cash donations. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes an impact!
March is Reading Month – Don't Forget Your Reading Logs
A reminder, the deadline for submitting March is Reading Month reading logs is Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Students must have their reading logs signed by a parent or guardian before submitting them to their classroom teacher.
The top three readers from each class will receive a prize, and our top dog reader will earn an exclusive invitation to join Mrs. Niemi for a special "Paw-ty" after spring break!
Thank you for supporting our school community and fostering a love of reading and taking action!

This afternoon we had our 2nd tornado drill of the school year. Students and staff did an excellent job practicing this drill. By law we are required to have two tornado drills, with one required during the month of March, five fire drills, and three security/safety drills during the school year. Today's drill meets the requirement of two tornado drills for the 25-26 school year.
Drills are documented on our Clear Lake web page and will always be communicated through School Messenger after a drill has been conducted.
