This afternoon we had fire drill #1. Students did an excellent job following directions and evacuating quickly and quietly. We are also able to count our shelter in place that occured on 9/3/26 as one of our tornado drills for the school year.
By law we are required to have 5 fire drills, 2 tornado drills, and 2 ALICE drills and 1 safety/Cardiac Team drill.
Drills are documented on our Clear Lake web page and will be communicated through School Messenger after a drill has been conducted.

This is a reminder that we will be running Extended Evening Office Hours today, 5/4/26, to help parents/guardians that might need to have their driver's license scanned into the visitor management system for any upcoming field trips, DK/Kindergarten music concerts, field day volunteers, and 5th grade Celebration.
