September 3, 2020 First Week Recap

Dear Clear Lake Families,

I am extremely proud of our students, teachers, support staff and school community as we all have worked together to make our first week of the 2020-2021 school year successful. On behalf of myself and our staff, we thank you for your continued support and encouragement as we strive to create the safest learning environment for our students. We have enjoyed seeing our students again and are looking forward to building relationships with them as the year progresses.

Please continue to adhere to the Family Pledge, monitoring the health and well-being of your child before sending him/her to school each day. Please commit to checking their temperature daily and error on the side of caution when he/she isn't feeling well.

We will continue seeing students next week by last name. The schedule is detailed in the Haiku calendar. Just as a reminder, students do not have school tomorrow (Friday, September 4th) or Monday (September 7th).

Our teachers are looking forward to meeting with you via Zoom next week for Curriculum Night. Please look for a Zoominvitation to your child's curriculum night from his/her teacher by week's end.They will share curriculum information, discuss classroom procedures and outline the year for you. We appreciate your partnership in your child's education.
