Dear Clear Lake Families,

As we approach the last weekend before the start of the school year, I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with some information and reminders.

I am once again attaching the link to our hub for information, The Clear Lake Connection.

A recent update has been the addition the 2020-2021 Clear Lake Student Covid Handbook.Clear Lake Student Covid Handbook.pdf

The handbook details procedures and processes for students as they navigate their day at Clear Lake. Please take a few moments over the weekend to review the handbook. We hope that you find it useful in answering questions about your child's day at school.

Arrival Procedures:

The doors will open at 9:23 AM each day. Students should not get out of their cars until the bell rings at 9:23 AM. If you are dropping your child off at school, please use the parent drop off line and pull all the way forward. When your child exits the automobile, they should do so only from the passenger side of the car and already have his/her mask on. They will all enter the building through the main entrance under the canopy and proceed immediately to their classroom.

If you are walking your child to the front canopy entrance for drop off, please park in the parking lot and wait until 9:23 AM to exit your car. A staff member will be present to help you safely cross the flow of traffic at the crosswalk. You must have a mask on if you are out of our automobile. Please move quickly and strive to maintain social distancing while doing so.

We will have staff members on the front sidewalk, under the canopy at the main entrance and inside the building ready to assist and support our students. We realize that leaving your students for the first day could be challenging. Please be assured we will take good care of them and help them get to the right class.

Our staggered dismissal plan is located on Haiku (see link above). Please review those procedures prior to next week.

Medicine/Paperwork Drop-Off:

If you need to drop off any medication or paperwork for your child, you may do so on Monday/Tuesday AM. We will have a staff member located at the big office window in the front of the building who will be able to receive your child's paperwork and medicine.

Please enjoy your weekend. We look forward to seeing students starting Monday!
